Lethe Noise generates sound on your device. The app has no account system, advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs.

This notice covers Lethe Noise and its website, lethe.arnaoot.com. They are provided by Ramsey Arnaoot. For any privacy question or request, contact lethe@arnaoot.com.

The app and your settings

Sound is synthesized locally. The app does not record your microphone, upload audio, or send your listening activity or settings to me. It does not request access to your contacts or location.

Your mix, scene and playback preferences are saved on your device so they are there when you return. There is no Lethe account or cloud-sync service. Device backups may include app settings, depending on your Apple backup settings.

You can restore the app’s settings with Settings → Reset to Defaults. Removing the app and its local data removes those locally stored preferences; backup copies are managed through your device’s backup settings.

Apple and TestFlight

Apple’s distribution and diagnostic services are separate from the app’s own code. During TestFlight testing, Apple automatically collects beta-app crash logs and usage information and shares them with the developer. Feedback you choose to submit is also shared. Depending on how you joined the test and what you submit, this may include your name or email address.

I use this information to investigate problems and improve Lethe Noise, not for advertising. You can stop participating in the beta through TestFlight. Read Apple’s TestFlight privacy notice and Apple’s privacy policy for details about Apple’s processing and retention.

If you contact me

When you email support, I receive your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to send. I use these to respond and troubleshoot your request. Please avoid sending passwords or unrelated personal information.

Support email is handled through Apple’s iCloud Mail. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, relevant follow-up or legal obligations. You can ask me to delete it using the address above.

This website

This is a static information website, hosted through Cloudflare. It does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, embedded social widgets, or application cookies. Fonts and artwork are served with the site, rather than loaded from third-party font or image services.

To deliver and protect the website, Cloudflare processes technical request information, which may include your IP address, browser or system information and the pages requested. This hosting activity is separate from listening in the offline app. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling and retention of that information.

Your information and your choices

I do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Support and website information is processed as needed to answer enquiries, maintain a secure website and improve the app, based on legitimate interests where that legal basis applies. Service providers such as Apple and Cloudflare may process information outside your country under their published privacy arrangements.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its use, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Email lethe@arnaoot.com to make a request about information I hold. I cannot access your locally stored app settings; those remain under your control.

If the app or these practices change, this page will be updated and the date above revised.
